Non-invasive Cardiovascular (NICV) services are available at more than 60 sites throughout Nebraska, northern Kansas and western Iowa. The non-invasive cardiovascular team provides independent sonography to the outreach communities, offering regularly scheduled visits to various sites, as well as visits on an as needed basis. Additionally, Nebraska Heart Institute cardiologists provide cardiology clinics at various sites. The NICV staff accompanies the cardiologist and performs the necessary exams, on site, during the scheduled clinic.
Each community has specific needs; therefore, services are tailored to meet the needs of the community. The services include cardiac and vascular sonography, stress testing, nuclear medicine, EKG analysis and storage, Holter monitoring, event monitoring and device clinics.
The Heart Center at Good Samaritan offers comprehensive cardiac health care, close to home. Outreach services allow the patient to receive initial visits and follow-up visits, while supporting his or her local health care facility and providers. The Good Samaritan Heart Center is continually reaching out to the individuals in the community, providing excellence in cardiovascular care.
