Welcome to one of the most comprehensive
cancer centers in the nation.

Cancer can be a frightening diagnosis. But at Good Samaritan Cancer Center, the prospects are brighter than ever.

Good Samaritan has the equipment, expertise and individual attention to care for individuals who have been diagnosed with cancer.  Our Varian Trilogy linear accelerator allows us to apply radiation with exceptional precision, thus sparing normal tissue anywhere throughout the body. Our Cancer Center is one of only 21 community cancer centers in the nation selected by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) to participate in the NCI Community Cancer Centers Program (NCCCP). The NCCCP is a network of community hospitals focused on expanding cancer research and delivering the latest, most advanced cancer care from prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship to more Americans in their home communities.

It's hard to find a more comprehensive cancer center than the one you'll find at CHI Health Good Samaritan.

Our Cancer Center has been accredited by the Commission on Cancer (CoC) of the American College of Surgeons (ACoS) since 1982. CommisionOnCancer_AccredProg_VERT_rgb (2).jpg

Our specialized team is focused on providing clinical excellence in a healing environment and offers: infusion therapy, radiation therapy, a genetic counselor, a tobacco cessation counselor, nurses, patient navigators, outreach coordinators, an educational library, support groups, a healing garden, educational seminars, and a wide range of clinical trials.

From 2007 until 2014, our Cancer Center participated as one of 21 community hospitals in the NCI Community Cancer Centers Program (NCCCP). The NCCCP focused on identifying ways to facilitate broader engagement in cancer research and developing effective community-based cancer care from prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship through end-of-life care.
