Levels of Care

No Appointment Necessary

Strep throat, stitches, asthma attacks and allergic reactions don't make appointments. You shouldn't have to either. So if you need urgent care, stop in or visit us online. No appointment necessary. Knowing what level of care to access will save you time, money, and headaches. Consider your options when you need minor medical attention.

Virtual Care

CHI Health Virtual Care is a 24/7 healthcare service available via phone or video. Receive consultations and even prescriptions for minor illnesses such as allergies, sinus infections, bladder infections, flu and more from anywhere. Prescribing medication is at the prescriber’s discretion, which follows the national health care guidelines. Narcotics, anti-anxiety and antidepressant medications will not be prescribed. Virtual visits should not replace a primary care provider, but can be used when your primary care provider is unavailable or you wish to save a trip to the doctor.

Access to the internet using Internet Explorer 9 or higher, Chrome, Safari or Firefox browsers is required. Multiple video platforms can be used for virtual visits, including FaceTime, Video Chat and Skype. If you have problems accessing our website or have further questions about virtual care, representatives would be happy to help you 24 hours a day at 1-844-355-CARE (2273) or visit us online.

Quick Care

Quick Care is a convenient location for physician assistants and nurse practitioners to treat patients 19 months and older. They do not provide emergency medical services and are not able to treat patients for orthopedic or other long-term health problems like diabetes or high blood pressure. CHI Health Quick Care locations are next to the pharmacy in some local Hy-Vee stores throughout the Omaha, Lincoln and Kearney areas. Walk-ins are welcome and seen in the order of arrival. Quick Care is not meant to replace your primary care physician. Full payment (if paying cash) or co-payment (if filing insurance) is required at the time of the visit. Hours vary by location.
